What We Learned This Year From Training Others
December 2025
Every year brings fresh insights—and this one has been no different. As trainers and facilitators, we don’t just teach; we learn with and from the people we work with. So, what did we learn this year from training others?
First and foremost: people are hungry for connection. Whether in a classroom or on a screen, learners thrive when they feel seen, heard, and included. We’ve seen powerful moments unfold not from slides, but from shared experiences and open conversations.
We also learned that practicality is king. People want tools they can use right now. The more relevant and hands-on the learning, the more it sticks. Real-world examples, role plays, and “try it now” tasks made all the difference.
Another big takeaway? Confidence beats perfection. Time and again, we watched participants grow not just in skill but in self-belief. Creating safe spaces to try, fail, and try again is what helps people truly develop.
And finally, we were reminded that learning never stops—for anyone. Every session, every group, every question offered us new perspectives. We’re not just delivering content; we’re part of a learning culture that’s constantly evolving.
So thank you to everyone we trained, coached, and collaborated with this year. You’ve taught us just as much as we’ve shared with you—and we can’t wait to keep growing together in the year ahead. Here’s to more lightbulb moments, laughter, and learning in 2026!
