Course Overview

Today’s leaders and managers are required to drive performance while navigating diverse teams and complex change. Understanding how neurodiversity is evident in teams and responding effectively gives leaders and managers a real edge: stronger team relationships, clearer communication, and better outcomes.

The session also briefly highlights upcoming guidance and workplace considerations, helping leaders stay ahead of the curve and create a supportive environment.

 

Training Objectives

This virtual classroom session equips leaders and managers with practical insights and tools to recognise ADHD and Autism traits, challenge assumptions, and give feedback that lands—helping teams thrive while keeping performance moving forward.

Course Content

  1. How neurodiversity shows up in teams – noticing ADHD and Autism traits, and understanding how tone, focus, or body language can be interpreted in different ways.
  2. Challenging assumptions and building understanding – shifting perspective to see strengths as well as differences and responding with more empathy and diplomacy.
  3. Adopting practical approaches – simple strategies for giving feedback (including around Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD)), adjusting tone, and avoiding mislabelling—tools that can be used straight away.
