Overview
Working in emotionally challenging environments requires staff to engage in ways that are both productive and protective.
This session explores the difference between compassion, empathy and sympathy and establishes the boundaries of mental well-being in the workplace. This lively session balances group work, discussion and practical exercises (please note there is no roleplay.)

By the end of this session, you will be able to:
- Recognise the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue in yourself and others.
- Understand the psychological and physiological impact of compassion fatigue.
