Duration 5 daysThis qualification is aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
The course is designed to meet the needs of candidates who work in the Building Services Engineering sector such as electricians, and who need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
On successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to demonstrate an understanding and be conversant with the format, content and application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2008 (17th edition).
Achievement of the course objectives will be verified by theoretical on-line assessment.
Pre-requisites
There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this qualification. However, candidates must have the potential and experience to successfully gain the qualification. It is expected that candidates will have basic knowledge of electrical science.
