Leonard's Profile
I am originally from South Africa and moved to Ipswich 10 years ago as my wife and I love the Suffolk countryside and way of life. For all of this time I have been working at Adapt (formerly Bentek Training Services) and there are a number of reasons why.
I have enjoyed the relationships and friendships that I have formed with my clients over the years. Being of South African origin, my surname is difficult to pronounce (its Potgieter – why don’t you have a try?) so my clients tend to call me just Leonard or Len…I have even been called Lionel and Lawrence Potgritter on occasion by those that don’t know me so well.
Within our office we are a very close knit team who work hard together, we are all passionate about the results we achieve both for Adapt and for our clients. We have been on trips together to Dublin, Iceland, Paris and Rome as well as bingo, cooking experiences, village fetes, birthday parties and nights out. I used to be around 10 stone (ok…maybe a little more) but my colleague, Christine, is too good a baker to resist her Friday treats.
Adapt has invested a lot in my own development over the years. I have attended presentation skills, sales training, time management, management training and IT courses. I have also gained an invaluable amount of experience being involved in various projects such as business planning and a rebranding exercise.
I look forward to a successful future with Adapt working to develop others and myself.
I’m Christine Ward and I am a Corporate Training Advisor and have been part of ‘the Adapt team’ for over a decade. Since starting at Adapt in 2000, I have been fortunate to find a career I can truly say I love, which happens to have brought along the journey good friends and fantastic clients (which I consider friends – you know who you are!).
